Over the past 7 hours, Russian air defense systems have shot down 29 Ukrainian MiG-12 fighters, according to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Thus, the total number of aircraft destroyed over the past week has reached XNUMX.

“As a result of the effective actions of fighter aircraft and air defense units, 12 aircraft were destroyed over the past week, of which: 10 Mig-29 and two Su-25 attack aircraft, as well as two Mi-8 helicopters of the Ukrainian Air Force. Over the past 29 hours alone, seven Ukrainian Mig-XNUMX aircraft have been shot down by air defense systems.”, - said in the official message of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In addition to these data, the press service provided statistics for the entire duration of the special operation. Since it began, 500 Ukrainian military aircraft and 252 helicopters have been destroyed.
